Paul's Tomb

Description:

Paul's Tomb is a scenic walk along the edge of Okanagan Lake. The trail is on the west-side of Knox Mountain Park and it perfect for dog walking and jogging. Park rules are to keep your dog on a leash, but we saw 5+ dogs roaming freely with their owners. We suggest bringing a leash, just in case.

The trail is about 20 minutes each way, making it about an hour round-trip. If you get lost in the majesty of of the view, the trip could take longer. At Paul's Tomb, there is a park area with a beautiful view across the lake. This area is complete with benches and well maintained lawn; did somebody say picnic? Directly adjacent is a beach area, perfect for a swim for you or your dog.

This hike is great for killing a couple hours or going for a walk with someone special. As a bonus, there is a cliff-jumping spot to show off at. Show your friends how tough you are by jumping in with no towel!

You can also kayak to this spot from Sutherland Bay Park. This would take a similar amount of time with a round trip of about an hour.

.
