camels hump

description:

Camels Hump is a multi-peak adventure through lush forests and breathtaking views. To get there, be sure you have a high clearance vehicle as the drive to the trailhead is riddled with deep potholes and washouts. Once you reach the trailhead, you'll be glad you did.

The hike starts with a walk through a marsh (bring bug spray) and quickly takes you to a gradually increasing incline. The first peak is incredible with a view of Lumby's untouched wonder. You'll be wanting to take pictures here, trust me.

The trail to the second peak is where Camels Hump gets its name. It's a steep decline with amazing views of a cliff-side. We took a break here to roll some rocks off the cliff and count how long it took to hit the bottom. That's the kind of thing us sophisticated gentlemen do to measure distance. It was quite the drop.

After another incline, you'll reach the second peak. This view is even better than the first, take your Instagram shots here.
