Drive Up View
oyama lookout
Description:
This amazing viewpoint is a little hidden secret of Oyama. The lookout is one of the easiest to access places we have on our list. Being more of a great hangout spot rather than a hike, located about half way up Oyama Lake road it can be recognized by a sharp turn in the road, and several "No-Campfire" signs nailed to trees.
Once you arrive be sure to park your car as far off the road as you can as people drive rather recklessly on these roads. Once you are off the road there is short walk to the cliffs edge where there are several beautiful lookout points over the jewel of the Okanagan, Oyama. Along these amazing views are Kalamalka Lake, Wood Lake, and Terrace Mountain.
This is a great spot to just get away watch the sunset. Looking to win some points in your rocky relationship? Take him/her here and enjoy the magic. If you post a picture, don't forget to tag @officialbearlives in that magic!
